It's a bike!
I’ve had a bike of some kind or another most of my like. A Schwinn Springer Fork, shared with my brother, was ridden until it broke (down tube at the crank housing), many years ago. Little did we know that it was garunteed for life, and could have gotten another. I had a road bike reject while I was in the Army in Germany, and a single speed skinny tire when I was going to community college and University after the Army. Since I live in the mountains, and everywhere I ride runs out of pavement sooner or later, I have a mountain bike, as does my wife. The idea for this blog came out of a conversation with my son. I am a Boomer (1946), a teacher and a freelance writer. Seemed like a natural thing to do. I hope you enjoy what you find here.
